5th Wednesday Project
April 30th @ Noon
Methodist Hospital (401 W. Campbell Road)

Our last 5th Wednesday project for this Rotary year will coincide with our District Grant effort at the old hospital at 401 W. Campbell Road. This project is bringing the tired interior of the courtyard back to life! Come ready to work and wear your Rotary shirt! Yep, get your hands dirty and make a difference! Come for an hour or however long you can stay to help (no lunch).

We will stain the existing pavilion, pull up old edging, replace/tighten nuts and bolts on picnic tables, and other related tasks. Steps to prepare for this work have already started to take place.

This revitalization of the old Courtyard will be accomplished in stages, with future plans to reroof the pavilion, put a decklike structure over the drainage area, take down the old hedges, and bring some color and life into the area.

Making things happen the Richardson East Way!
A STAR IS BORN!

Our very own Gavin Nichols recently stepped into the spotlight as part of The Great Richardson Baking Bonanza benefiting the Richardson Adult Literacy Center.

With a mix of mystery, mayhem, and plenty of laughs, Gavin’s performance helped bring the story to life—and supported a fantastic cause in the process. Hats off to Gavin for lending his talent to such a meaningful and memorable event!
Stories
Proposed Member - Lane Troiani

Lane recently became the President of the Richardson Market for Texas Republic Bank.

He was born in Plainville, Kansas, moved around a lot due to his father's job with Conoco, specifically Kansas, Oklahoma, California and Wyoming.  After graduating from high school in Casper Wyoming, he moved to Waco to attend Baylor University, where he graduated in 1982.  He then moved to the DFW area to attend TCU's MBA program.

After receiving his MBA, he began his banking career at NorthPark National Bank as an analyst. He then worked for several different banks in Dallas, concentrating in commercial real estate lending. He has been with Texas Republic Bank for almost 9 years (August 2025) serving as the bank's EVP and Senior Credit Officer for 7 and Richardson Market President for over 1 year.

Lane is interested in becoming a member of our club in order to become plugged into a local organization that is involved with the Richardson community.
