Last week's Club meeting was a full house (a new table was added to accommodate everyone) with full hearts (so much to celebrate).  Four new members were inducted, an RISD student was recognized, and City Manager Don Magner provided us with an overview of the state of City Hall and the upcoming Bond election. 

Games & Gala is fast approaching.  We need help from all members.  Please purchase tickets and create silent auction baskets. 

 

The membership committee approved 4 new members and the board voted unanimously to welcome them to our club.  Their bios are below.  One new member will be the Richardson  Family YMCA, a local organization.  While a first for RERC, extending membership to local community partners is a strategy employed by other Rotary Clubs. YMCA staff leadership will serve as Club representatives, with a select staff representative attending each meeting. We look forward to "piloting" this within our Club as a way to build deeper relationships with our community partners.
