District Governor's Visit
We had a remarkable meeting with our District Governor, Howard Templin, last week. 
 
He offered several suggestions to further strengthen and develop our Club and foster community engagement, which included:
  • Partnering with other Rotary Clubs to work on service projects
  • Partnering alongside Community Service clubs outside Rotary 
  • Inviting guests to our meetings, happy hours, and service days
He also recommended taking a long-term approach to club membership planning, encouraging us to take a three-year approach to forecasting.

Updates from the July Executive Board Meeting:
  • The 2022/2023 Budget was passed
  • Next month, September, Keith Kockler will be kicking off planning meetings for our participation in the Richardson Christmas Parade
Sign-up to volunteer at Network After School Art Program
Sign up is now available to volunteer for the Network of Community Ministries after-school Art Class. The duties are to help set up, instruct students and clean up after. Usually, the times are 3.50-5.00 pm.
