I was was born and raised in Rotan, a small west Texas town NW of Abilene.   I am 1 of 6 kids (3 boys and 3 girls). I left  Rotan in 1985 to experience the big city of Dallas.

I have had some college. but all my opportunities have been a result of hard work and applying myself.  I worked in the import/export business before landing a job in the hotel industry for 18 years.  My experience in the hotel industry included Food and beverage, customer service, purchasing, and project management.

After having my own business for 3 years while working with one of my hotel partners - with the encouragement of a friend, my husband - I obtained my real estate license in 2015 and have been helping our clients buy and sell real estate for over 18 years and have been with Keller Williams the entire time.

I met my husband, Tim, in 1993 on a plane going to Las Vegas.  We married 7 years later in Vegas on the same date we met (easy for him to remember 😂) and have been married a little over 23 years.  He's my biggest cheerleader and encourager.  I have a step-daughter who also lives in Vegas with her family.  We have 3 God daughters and tons of nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. We have a Sheltie named Stella who we adopted 7 years ago at the age of 4 - she's 11 and still going strong.

I love to volunteer and serve the community:
  • Was on the Board of the Heart of Gold Foundation for several years.
  • On the Board of WOVI (Women of Visionary Influence) and VP of Communications for the Addison Chapter and still volunteer with the annual events.
  • Am a volunteer with the Network of Community Ministries.
  • Am currently Vice President of our Crowley Park Neighborhood Association in east Richardson and have been serving as social chair and publications committee for 14 years.
  • Volunteer with our Keller Willliams office who also does community service.

One of the reasons the Rotary resonates with me is because of their community outreach and the hands-on service they do.

I am a Leadership Richardson Graduate Class of 38 - THE BEST CLASS!

I enjoy the outdoors, traveling, reading, movies, getting together with friends and family and hanging out with my hubby!  Headed to the beach this weekend - one of our favorite things to do. One of my goals is to visit all 50 states and I'm halfway there.
