Our club will be having a garden maintenance session at 8:00am on Friday August 2nd. Just to give a brief history of the Richardson east rotary club’s Sensory garden. It was created as part of the club’s prior Strategic Plan that helped create and build the Ann Eisemann Inclusive Playground at Cottonwood Park in 2019. We are responsible for its upkeep.
There is a large stone plaque within the garden which highlights our efforts. The garden is called sensory…because all the plants within it are chosen to be non-poisonous and safe for touching and enjoyment. Please come help us with this club service project. Bring your garden tools, large shovels and gloves, if possible. |
