SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE

It was an active month for Richardson East Rotary Club. We stepped up to aid our District 5810’s School Supply Drive for Costa Maya, Mexico. Our members supplied the workforce to pack boxes that will be delivered in January during the District cruise. Our club focused on construction paper and crayons, and there was plenty to pack, thanks to our RERC Foundation!

 

SENSORY GARDEN MAINTENANCE

The Richardson East Rotary Club also keeps the Ann Eisemann Inclusive Playground Sensory Garden in tip-top shape with several maintenance days throughout the year, including one in July. The Sensory Garden was created as part of the club’s prior Strategic Plan that helped create and build the Ann Eisemann Inclusive Playground at Cottonwood Park in 2019. RERC maintains the garden and all the plants within it are chosen to be non-poisonous and safe for touching and enjoyment.
