 RERC Received an email from Lori Smeby Director of Richardson Parks and Recreation Department I just want to offer my sincerest of thanks and gratitude to the members of the Richardson East Rotary Club for the amazing show of support through your volunteer efforts at the inclusive playground open house! As I've said, this has truly been a labor of love for both the club and the city, and that was never more evident than last night. Everyone is so positive about this project and RERC has sooo very much to be proud of...look at the amazing financial success you've had! I know giving up an evening can be a challenge sometimes, but the Rotary motto of "Service before Self" was definitely on display last night. I can't imagine working shoulder to shoulder with anyone else on this project. The work's not done, but we are oh so close! Many thanks to your amazing club members for their commitment and courage in taking on this project! I think you guys have definitely defined "signature project"! |
