October Executive Board Meeting News

Richardson Rotary Club (the Monday club) is sponsoring a blood drive on Saturday, October 21, 10am - 4pm , at Richardson's Bike Mart on Campbell Rd. You can register for the drive at Carter BloodCare's registration site. For more information, please see below at the bottom of the bulletin.
October 24 is World Polio Day. Our club will be joining the Richardson Rotary Club to organize "Pints for Polio" from 5-7pm at Guitars & Growlers. 25 have registered so far. You can register here.
We will be welcoming our newest member, Rob Banes, on October 25.
There will be a fall Sensory Garden workday in early November. Details will be announced soon.
November 15's club meeting will take place at IL Texas

Books for Mexico

This past Saturday, several of our club members participated in an international service project. They manhandled 869 donated books from International Leadership Texas, weighing a total of 1,230.3 pounds, into 42 boxes. These are part of District 5810's Book Brigade, meeting a critical need for children in Mexico. The books will be shipped free of charge via Carnival Cruise Line.

We partnered with our ILT Interact Club for this project, uniting hearts for service.

Pints for Polio

October 24 is World Polio Day.

Pints for Polio is a fundraising and fellowship event organized by both Rotary Clubs of Richardson benefiting the Rotary International End Polio Campaign.

It will take place at Guitars & Growlers from 5-7pm on Oct. 24.
