Richardson East Rotary Club had the honor to welcome two new members to the club, Laurie Garvie (on the left) and Gwen Walraven (in the middle). Our President Karen Ellis (on the right) is the sponsor and also had the pleasure of inducting the new members. Gwen Walraven Gwen resides in Richardson and is an Attorney. She is active in the community: graduated LR Class 28, served as an LR Advisor for 3 years and is a member of Heights Baptist Church. She also serves on the board of the Richardson Symphony. She has been asked and has accepted the role of Secretary for RERC for 2018-2019! She is especially interested in helping with the Inclusive Playground project – having a special needs family member herself. Laurie Garvie Laurie is a Richardson resident and the Executive Director of the Richardson Symphony. She is a graduate of LR, a current LR Advisory Board member, an Elder at Canyon Creek Presbyterian Church, and Secretary of P E O Chapter EZ. She also is a Past President of the Friends of the Library Board and involved with the Richardson Symphony League. |
