Our RERC Week was a major success, highlighted by three key events!

 

Wednesday: We welcomed the Swedish Academic Delegation to Texas for engaging discussions at our noon meeting. We enjoyed hearing their entrepreneur stories and aspirations and will look for ways to partner with them in the future!

 

Thursday: The EDGE Awards celebration honored community and business leaders. Richardson Assistant Fire Chief Gene Senter received the 2025 RERC Service Above Self Award. Dr. Richard Benson (UT Dallas) earned the Richardson Technology Innovation Award, with RERC President Leslie Benson participating in the celebration!

 

Saturday: A lively Party in the Park was co-hosted with the City of Richardson Parks and Rec Department, led by RERC member, Yvonne Falgout (Parks and Rec Director). We had a great turnout and it was such a joy to see all of the smiles on the kids faces!
