Last Saturday on 10/17 the RERC annual Fall Fiesta was held. This year's difference was the half-virtual set up. Half-virtual since we got the care packages delivered earlier during the day where parts should be chilled and an envelope to not be opened until the event itself. The care package contained chips, salsa, bottles with unknown liquids, necklaces, funny eyeglasses, cactus key chain, limes, drink mixer, instructions and the closed envelope. As we started our MC Gwen gave us instructions to open the envelope and to bring out the needed items, measuring cup, plate for salt, citrus press and glasses. She lead us throw the creation of our own home made margaritas which ended up very yummy. After good conversations and cheering Gwen took us through the TV series theme song trivia over the decades since the 1950's. There were some very talented people (or they have watched a lot of TV :-) ) answering the questions very quickly. Overall a VERY successful and fun RERC Fall Fiesta. |
