International Projects
We support Rotary International by contributing to the Polio Eradication Project, Polio Plus, as well as supporting the general RI foundation.
We also have particapated in other international projects including a home for girls in Honduras, Our Little Roses, which was brought to us by one of our club members.
Every week at club meetings we collect “Happy Bucks” which are donated to the Polio Plus cause.
Once a year, on World Polio Day, we along with our sister Richardson Rotary Club, sponsor Pints for Polio at a local restaurant or bar. The donations collected on that day are also destined for the Polio Plus cause.

Our Little Roses is an all girls home in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. 70 girls live in this home. It is a sanctuary for girls who have never known safety. They are fed, clothed and educated until they graduate high school. Our Club's mission involves sponsoring 3 girls. The sponsorship allows them to be placed in the "bilingual school" where they learn English and take other advanced classes.
One of our members has been involved with the home for 11 years, and his wife, for over 20 years. Another club member and his wife have participated for 3 years.
