The Richardson IQ (Innovation Quarter)

Doug is the Manager Director of the Office of Innovation & Placemaking Initiatives for the City of Richardson, where he assists the City Manager’s Office in implementing and coordinating land use and economic development policies and activities related to the City’s redevelopment revitalization initiatives. Over the past four years, Doug has led the City’s redevelopment efforts for the Richardson IQ®, the 1,200-acre innovation district located in the heart of Richardson’s Telecom Corridor® area. Doug is a graduate of Leadership Richardson and currently serves on the Dallas ISD Foundation Board for CityLab High School. Doug previously served as President for the American Planning Association Texas Chapter and currently serves as the Treasurer for the American Planning Association President’s Council, which oversees 47 state chapters.
