- The Signature Project Committee is working with Richardson's Parks and Recreation Department to finalize plans before presenting it to the Richardson City Council for their approval.
- The board voted to sponsor 4 students to attend RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) this year. Two students (1 girl and 1 boy) each from Bruckner HS and International Leadership HS will be selected to attend.
- Upcoming District Events:
- April 12: Golf Tournament
- April 13: District Conference.
- April 27 (yes, the same day as Games & Giving), is Club Leadership Training Assembly. The training sessions are important if you will be an in-coming officer. Contact Michael Parmerlee if you would like to attend.
- June 27: District 5810 Installation Celebration.
- Our "sister" Richardson Rotary Club is presenting a 3-part program at the IQ, on current Research and Innovation programs at UT Dallas . The March 20th program will present engineering solutions to improve safety and enhance mobility for drivers, bicyclists and pedestrians. The final program on April 17th, will present IQ Design, which creates media rich experience to engage, educate and entertain you.
