Jacob Ayotte received the RERC Helping Hands Award on March 1st.

Jacob Ayotte has a service minded and giving heart, but this year he has truly found a passion and space to do more for others. He works 15 hours a week at a local Tai-kwon-do studio mentoring and working with youth and volunteers for Feed my Starving Children as part of the Young Men’s Service League.
In the last 6 months he has been on two mission trips to Guatemala where they completed service tasks in the morning (concrete work/painting the school) and then put on a camp for children in the afternoons (games, crafts and songs). He started a bible study/youth group for middle school boys which has over 30 students in grades 6-8 attending.
He is also getting ready to launch a bible study for high school students this spring with a few of his peers. He always puts others before himself and will continue to look for ways to do more for others beyond high school.
