There is a lot of news to share with you, from the latest board meeting:
- There will not be a Club meeting on November 23, the last Wednesday before Thanksgiving
- Wednesday November 30, is a Fifth Wednesday, volunteer Wednesday. We will be winterizing the Sensory Garden at Cottonwood Park. Please come to help at 4pm.
- Volunteers are need to man K-ELF at Santa's Village, on the weekends of Dec. 3 & 4 and Dec. 10 &11. This year Santa's Village will be held at Huffines Park. Further information and a link to sign up are in the story below.
- Volunteers are needed for Richardson’s 50th Annual Christmas Parade, "A Storybook Christmas” by volunteering as Parade Marshalls or Staging Volunteers. Further information and a link to sign up are in the story below.
- Please join us for the Club's Christmas party on December 14, at Monica's house
- The February Happy Hour (February 8), will be a time to bring a guest, to invite potential new members of our club.
- This year we plan to coordinate our blood drive with the International Leadership School of Texas. as part of their spring health fair in March.
- A big THANK YOU, to all the donors on North Texas Giving day. We received approximately $11,000 in contributions.
- Consider joining our District Governor, Howard Templin and Rotarians from nearby clubs for the District's conference and service cruise to the Caribbean in April.
