Installation Banquet 2016
The Installation Banquet of the new board at the Richardson Woman's Club was a success. Incoming District Governor Bill Dendy installed the new board.

Bruce went over a long list of achievements during the 2015-2016 year:
 
 Implemented the first year of a Three-Year Strategic Plan:
• #1 Membership Participation, Recruiting and Retention
 July 1, 2015 had 43 members
 YTD three members left the club
 YTD five new members joined our ranks
 Net growth YTD for 2015-16 is +2 = 45 current members
• #2 Engage A Younger, More Diverse Demographic
 Subjective as this may be, this past year has shown improvement with new members taking on leadership roles and bringing new ideas to the table.
• #3 Signature Service Project
 Committee was established that reviewed suggestions submitted by members as potential Signature Projects.
 Project selected and now in the final stages of negotiation is to partner with the City of Richardson on the development of an All Abilities Playground and a Community Picnic, held annually in June, to promote the playground and RERC.
 Completed an International global grant project for a toilet block (12 toilets) at a girls school in India.
 Celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week by honoring two RISD Teachers
 Recognized seven RERC members with Paul Harris Fellowships
 Hosted five RISD students competing in Four Way Speech Contest
 Held social functions at Ye Shire Tavern (July); Fiesta Night at David Frazee’s home (Oct.); Christmas Party at Mark Denny’s home (Dec.) and fellowship and brew at Four Bullets Brewery (Mar.)
 Members supported and actively participated in Christmas Parade, K-ELF Studio at Santa’s Village, Dental Clinic and District 5810 Assemblies, Round Tables, Convention and other programs.
 Partnered with other Richardson Rotary Clubs and the Richardson Chamber of Commerce in hosting the EDGE Awards Luncheon.
• Ethics Award presented to Woody Alexander
 Sponsored two students to attend Camp RYLA
 Signature Fundraiser – Casino Night – netted over $47,000. Added to other funds raised throughout the year, approximately $63,000 has been raised to financially support over twenty local community and international organizations and student scholarships.
• RISD Student Scholarships ($22,000)
 Three 4-year Scholarships & Two 2-year Scholarships
• Both community & scholarship awards to be presented at June 29, 2016 lunch meeting.
 Board & Club approved moving Casino Night in 2017 to new location (St. Paul the Apostle Parish Center) and the name to Rotary Cares – Games & Gala.
