Annie's Place Pavilion
Annie’s Place is a pavilion that is much needed for supporting the many activities currently taking place on the Ann Eisemann Inclusive Playground at Cottonwood Park in Richardson. The award-winning inclusive playground our club spearheaded to have built back in 2019.
Annie’s Place will be more than a pavilion, it will offer comfort to parents, shade for children, and be a place where teachers can inspire young minds in the open air. Most importantly, it will be a space where everyone, regardless of ability, can come together, play together and feel at home.
With your support, we can MAKE IT HAPPEN!
So far, we have raised 80% of our fundraising goal of $175,000. We still have 20% of our goal to raise and we need you more than ever to help us top it off so that Annie's Place is no longer just a vision but becomes real for all to enjoy.
Every donation is important no matter how large or small. So please, give as your heart tells you to.
For one time or multiple time donations that total $1,000 or more, donors will be permanently acknowledged on a Donor’s Recognition Sign that will be located adjacent to the pavilion. All donors, large or small, will be acknowledged in a specially designed commemorative booklet that will be distributed when the ribbon cutting ceremony takes place by late fall of 2026 or early next year. But first, we need to achieve our fundraising goal so that work may commence. This is why we need your support more than ever – NOW!
A lasting tribute in memory of Ann Eisemann, the woman who believed every child matters and for whom the playground bears her name. It will be a beautiful pavilion — a space built by the community, for the community - "Annie's Place!"

Games and Giving Donations
 As Rotarians we are committed to service at home and abroad. We use our members' skills, talents and expertise to accomplish our goals. We believe that Community Service encourages every Rotarian to find ways to improve the quality of life for people locally and to serve the public interest.
Our youth service programs recognize the importance of empowering youth and young professionals. This includes our annual scholarship program for local high school senior students to assist with college expenses. Our goal this year is to raise $42,000 for this program.
We also are expanding our Ann Eisemann Inclusive Playground in Cottonwood Park project by adding the much needed Annie's Place Pavillion. The goal to make the Pavillion a reality is $175,000.
In addition to serving our community, we support many Rotary International projects which we believe exemplifies Rotary’s cause to promote peace and build understanding. Among these projects is the campaign to eradicate polio worldwide.

Happy Bucks/Polio Plus
Our club proudly supports the goals of Rotary's Polio Plus Campaign. Every week we pass around the "Happy Bucks" bucket allowing each member to drop in a cash donation. This tradition will continue, but we are now offering a way to donate online as well as in person. |
Rotary has been working to eradicate polio for more than 35 years through the Polio Plus campaign. Our goal of ridding the world of this disease is closer than ever. Polio cases have been reduced by 99.9% worldwide. But, it remains a threat until there are no more cases.
