Inclusive Playground Update

November 7 is a big day for our club!  Bruce MacPherson, Chair of the Inclusive Playground effort, will explain our financial progress to date, enhancements added, the Rotary Garden, timeline for completion, and our engagement ahead.  There will be several City Council members in attendance, and the Club will be making a sizable donation as funds are transferred from the Foundation to the City.  Members of the Parks & Recreation department will be in attendance as well. It's a great time to be a Richardson East Rotarian!

 

And it is PRIME time to share with potential members what Rotary, and our Club in particular is all about.  We will be meeting at Canyon Creek Country Club.  If you are bringing a guest, please let me know by Monday so we can give Canyon Creek a close estimate of numbers to expect that day.  We are looking for quality members with a heart for service, willing to engage in our activities, and like to have fun in the process.  Networking is a beautiful bonus but is secondary, in my opinion.
